乳胶漆一般需加些水使用，最好少加水，薄而均匀的涂层是最理想的效果。外墙漆一般加水为10-20%之间。形成的漆膜结实，防水，少毛细孔。过份加水的外墙漆保色、耐候性变差。内墙漆一般加水为10-30%，过少不利于流平，过量会掉粉、失光。
